My Team

At Naturalis Biodiversity Center, I lead bachelor and master students on projects about the evolution of animal phenotypic diversity. At the University of Ghent I co-founded, along with Prof. Matthew Shawkey, the Evolution and Optics of Nanostructures research group. There, I work with a dynamic group of postdocs, PhD and master students on research topics from animal coloration to the evolution of animal egg morphology and function.
